SUNY Oneonta BFS High School Internship 2027

High-school interns join BFS faculty and staff for daily research duties at the Cooperstown Main Lab and field sites. Tasks include surveys, water sampling, sample preparation, laboratory analyses, data analysis and writing; interns assist colleagues as well as their own projects. A normal day runs 08:00–16:00, with occasional project-specific alternate hours. Each intern gives a 10–20 minute seminar and produces a poster and technical report. The annual high-school pool has 1–3 positions, including at least one for an Otsego County resident.
