Natural Areas Conservancy SUN High School Internship 2027

This supervised urban-ecology job combines flora/fauna identification, field monitoring and restoration, and an individual research question based on real NYC Parks data. Interns work with NAC, NYC Parks and partner staff, meet Urban NEST college interns, join science-communication training and present a poster publicly. Sites are Forest Park in Queens and Greenbelt Nature Center in Staten Island, with offsite events. Required virtual career preparation precedes six summer weeks; the summer also includes remote Monday work.
