A yearly national contest for school music ensembles in national and world music, created by Presidential Resolution PQ-391 of 15 November 2024. National-stage winners are sent on an educational trip abroad.
Presidential Resolution PQ-391 of 15 November 2024 tells the Ministry of Culture, together with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, to set up “Iqtidor” amateur art teams in schools from 1 April 2025, based on the “Turon” school theatre experience, and to hold the “Iqtidor maktab ansambli” national contest among them. The contest is held every year in national and world music. Costs of the national stage are covered by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. In the 2025 Uychi district stage, ensembles from 46 schools played Uzbek folk tunes on the dutor, rubob, chang, nay and doira, and the winning ensemble went on to the regional stage.
