The programme aims to develop future 'diplomatic talent' with a global outlook on international problem-solving and lasting world peace. From 2026 it became an official JCI (Junior Chamber International) programme, opening it to youth ambassadors from JCI member countries, and the first Global Youth Summit was held in New York. Selection is scored on English interview, problem-solving, the English speech video, interest in peace and international issues, and support from parents and the recommending LOM.
