EIL Japan, founded on the Experiment in International Living, runs a two-way high school exchange. Students attend a local high school and live with a host family in countries such as the USA (about 100 places), Canada, Ireland, the Philippines, South Africa and several European countries. Some destinations add a 2–3 week pre-program language course.
