Merit scholarships are given on an all-India basis to regular students of Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit from Class 9 to Ph.D., in modern schools and in traditional Pathashalas. The number of scholarships depends on funds. The guideline lists Rs 500 per month for 10 months for Class 9, with rates for other classes in the table.
