A one-day mock prefectural assembly at the Chiba Prefectural Assembly building where about 30 high school students debate policy themes with sitting assembly members.

Launched after the voting age was lowered to 18, the programme lets students tour the assembly chamber, hold a mock election for chair, discuss set themes in committees with assembly members (2026 themes: building an attractive Chiba, youth political participation, responding to climate change), report back in plenary, run questions and answers, and vote.
