FBISE's national programming contest for Grade IX to XII students (Matric, Cambridge or equivalent), used to select and train Pakistan's team for the International Olympiad in Informatics. The 2026-27 round has not been announced yet.
The Federal Government has mandated FBISE to run the Pakistan Olympiad in Informatics (POI) and to prepare the selected best students for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). Students are assessed through a series of online competitions hosted on platforms such as Codeforces, TopCoder and LeetCode, which are free to use. After the series, the top-performing students are selected to represent Pakistan internationally. The contest is meant for students with a passion for programming and an aptitude for problem-solving.
