National Science Talent Contest (NSTC) 2026-27

PIEAS's annual national contest in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics for Class 9 to FSc Part-I / A Level Part-I students. It is the route to Pakistan's team for the International Science Olympiads. The 2026-27 call is not published on the PIEAS pages.

PIEAS, working under the auspices of PAEC, conducts the National Science Talent Contest (NSTC) every year in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The NSTC is held in 19 cities across Pakistan. The top 50 students from the screening test are invited to residential training camps at the Home Institutes for each subject, and the camps narrow the group to the 4 to 6 best students per subject who represent Pakistan at the International Science Olympiads. The STEM Careers Programme office at HEC manages the camps and the travel.
