National Innovation Foundation - India invites unaided grassroots technological innovations, creative ideas and traditional knowledge from Indian citizens for incubation support such as validation, value addition and IPR protection.
Entries can cover agriculture, health, energy, household utilities, transport, livestock and other low-cost, sustainable green technologies that reduce drudgery or create livelihoods; a creative idea can be submitted even without a prototype. NIF scrutinises eligibility, reviews novelty and takes only novel entries forward for value addition, validation, user feedback and IPR protection. The page does not describe cash prizes.
