Ironwood Community Naturalist Internship 2026–27

Interns train in interpretive storytelling and apply it around Tucson’s Santa Cruz River community, Chuk-son Trail and Mission Garden. Working with Ironwood and local partners, they research topics, develop their own stories and prepare a collaborative presentation for the BEYOND event on January 16, 2027. The work combines environmental interpretation, community history, teamwork and public presentation. The current calendar includes orientation, field days, a December 5–6 campout and the final event.
