Gujarat's student hackathon run by the Gujarat Knowledge Society under SSIP 2.0, where teams of school students (Class 9-12) and college students solve real problem statements from government departments and industries. The next edition has not been announced.
Over seven years the Education Department has run six hackathons with 11,567 student teams, 1,676 problem statements and Rs 89 lakh in prizes. Top teams can get SSIP 2.0 grant support for a proof of concept, prototype or innovation and for IP, and all teams get exposure to real-world challenges.
