The Physics League (TPL) 2027 (물리대회)

The Physics League replaced the Korean Middle School Physics Competition and the physics certification exam in 2023. There are four levels: beginner (basic physics encyclopaedia content), intermediate (middle school science and high school integrated science physics), advanced (high school physics and university general physics) and expert (classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermal and statistical physics). Absolute scores earn level grades (for example gold, silver, bronze at intermediate level), and the top performers in each level receive grand, excellence and merit awards. Students may enter two levels in the same round in permitted combinations.
