Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for Wards of State/UT Police Personnel Martyred in Terror/Naxal Attacks 2026-27
A Ministry of Home Affairs scholarship for dependent children of State and UT police personnel martyred in terror or Naxal attacks who enter a first professional degree after Class 12: Rs 3,000 a month for girls and Rs 2,500 a month for boys.

Extended from 2019-20 to cover wards of State/UT police martyred during terror or Naxal attacks. 500 fresh scholarships are earmarked each year (250 for girls and 250 for boys) for first professional degrees such as engineering, medicine, dental, veterinary, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma, B.Sc Nursing, MBA and MCA.
