45th National Youth Science Inquiry Contest (Korea) 2027

Long-running national science contest (since 1983) where two-student school teams compete in science debate and convergence science, after qualifying through regional contests run by each office of education.

Main events are Science Debate (teams research an on-site topic using the internet and AI, then debate solutions) and Convergence Science (teams use PCs, digital tools and AI to plan, build and present a creative solution to an on-site task); a pilot event is added each year. Divisions run for upper elementary, middle and high school. Top teams receive the Minister of Science and ICT Award, with further awards from the KOSAC chair and sponsors.
