Under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 578, additional state-grant admission places of up to 1% of total university admissions are set aside for graduates of children's homes, children's towns, SOS villages and family children's homes, orphans under guardianship, custody or foster care, children deprived of parental care, foundlings and children who lost their single mother. The State Admission Commission distributes these places by university and form of study. Applicants who are not recommended within these separate places compete in the general competition with their scores. The benefit can be used only once for a state grant.
