Presidential Resolution PQ-399 of 22 November 2024 orders that school theatre teams be created in state general secondary schools and that the “Turon” school theatre national contest be held among them. In the 2026 district stage, teams took part in the “Bizning maktab” (Our school) introduction and question-and-answer round and the “Teatr – ibratxona” stage performance round, playing characters from works by enlighteners, great figures and writers. In Ellikqalʼa district, 18 school teams took part and the winners advanced to the next stage.
