Eight weeks of biomedical laboratory research with Stanford faculty, postdoctoral researchers and student mentors. The 2027 intake is announced; dates remain tentative.
Students conduct a medically oriented project under a one-to-one laboratory mentor. Research areas include immunology, neuroscience, cancer biology, stem cells, cardiovascular science, bioinformatics and genetics. Applicants indicate interests and are assigned to an institute after acceptance. This offering represents laboratory research; the separate bioengineering design/teaching bootcamp is not included. Selection heavily favors local Bay Area students.
