Overview

RSI combines advanced STEM classes with individual research under experienced scientist mentors. Students read scientific literature, carry out a detailed project, then prepare a paper and a conference-style oral presentation. Mentors and projects are assigned using student interests; continuation of an existing project is not permitted. MIT and Stanford are two campus tracks of one program and use one application.
