Teams design a "dream-filled" Android (or web) app on the year's theme (2026: 「スマホ家族」, smartphone family). The preliminary judges only the written proposal, so no app is needed at that stage; 8 finalist teams then build the app and give a 5-minute presentation and demo at the final, judged on planning, impact, feasibility, practicality and theme fit.
