The Okayama High School Study-Abroad Support Project helps prefectural high school students join overseas programmes run by schools, local governments or study-abroad organisations: language schools or local-school classes, university summer schools, internships, sports or arts training, or NGO international cooperation (short-term, 2 weeks to under 3 months), or regular overseas high-school study (long-term, 3 months to about 1 year). Programmes with longer actual training days are prioritised. Recipients attend pre- and post-study workshops and promote Okayama abroad.
