The grant helps cover international airfare, tuition at the overseas school, airport taxes and fuel surcharges, visa and passport fees, and travel insurance (or a programme fee that includes these). It can be combined with private scholarships as long as the total does not exceed actual costs. Recipients submit a completion report and help with the Board's study-abroad events for two years after returning.
