National student invention competition run by Korea's Ministry of Intellectual Property and KIPA; students submit their own invention ideas online and top entries are awarded and exhibited.
The exhibition looks for original inventions inspired by everyday life (free invention category). Entries go through nine judging stages, including document review, public review (공중심사) and work review. About 200 prizes are awarded, including the President's Award, and winning works are shown at an exhibition and in a permanent online e-exhibition. Top winners are selected for KIPA's Young Inventors Program (YIP).
