Competition · In person
First edition of a Korean science-inquiry contest that selects the top 4 students to represent Korea at CASTIC 2027 in Hubei, China.
Scoring combines a written review of the student's science project (100 points, no oral presentation) with on-site tasks (200 points): students choose 2 of 4 tasks covering life/social science, earth/space science, physics/chemistry and technology/engineering, and solve them in 120 minutes using skills such as experimental design, variable control, data analysis and drawing conclusions. Tasks are based on the middle school curriculum. The top 4 students join the CASTIC 2027 Korean delegation after a mandatory camp.
