How to find programs that fit your grade

Not every program is open to every student. Some start in grade 9, some only take juniors, and some are for students aged 16 and older. The grade filter on Choices hides what you cannot apply to, so you can spend your time on programs that fit.
Pick your grade
Choose grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 on the home page or the Programs page, and the list narrows to programs open to students in that grade. On Oct 30, 2026, 459 programs were open to grade 10.
If your school uses different years
Choices is for grades 9–12 and the same school years elsewhere, such as Years 10–13 in England or Sec 3 to JC2 in Singapore. That is roughly ages 14 to 18. If your school uses another system, pick the closest grade, then check the Who can apply line on each listing.
Check "Who can apply"
Every listing says exactly who can apply: a grade, an age, a country, or a mix. For example, the Research Science Institute listing says "Grade 11, age 16 or older." The grade filter is a shortcut. That line is the rule.
Sort by deadline
Show only programs that are still open and sort them by deadline. The ones closing first appear at the top, so nothing slips past you.
Narrow by country
Pick a country to see programs open to students there. Many programs accept international students, and you can hide programs that need travel abroad.
Save a program and get a reminder
Create a free account, save a program, and choose a reminder 7, 3 or 1 day before the deadline. Choices will email you. Your notes and statuses stay private.
