Virginia Junior Academy of Science Research Symposium 2027
Virginia's juried student science research symposium: students in grades 7–12 submit research papers, and accepted authors present at the annual VJAS Research Symposium and are published in the VJAS Proceedings.

VJAS encourages Virginia students to carry out scientific research and compete for awards at the annual Research Symposium. Students whose papers are accepted present at the symposium, have their abstracts published in the VJAS Proceedings and compete for awards and scholarships; others may attend as participants. Phil Robinson Research Grants support student projects.
