A free research presentation session held during the Meteorological Society of Japan's spring meeting, where junior high, high school and early-KOSEN students present their own weather, climate or atmospheric research to professional meteorologists. The 2027 call has not been published yet.
Any observation or study related to weather, climate or the atmosphere can be presented, and the quality of the research is not ranked: the session values the wish to research and present. The 2025 and 2026 sessions were held online as real-time oral presentations. Every presenter receives a certificate of presentation at the society, abstracts are published on the society's website, presenters get feedback from experts and in 2026 could attend the society's summer school free of charge.
