Mitchell Scholarship 2027

The Mitchell Institute selects graduating students from Maine public high schools for college financial support and a continuing network of Scholars and Alumni. The award is $10,000 in four annual installments of $2,500. Selection considers academics, community impact and financial need. The Institute reports 200 scholarships statewide each year, including at least one graduating student from every Maine public high school; an individual application does not guarantee selection. Scholars can use free leadership and career events, individualized academic/career advising and networking. Additional fellowship and emergency assistance opportunities require their own review. The college is chosen by the student; reviewed rules do not enumerate permitted study countries, so confirm whether the intended institution qualifies before relying on the award.
