The Kyoritsu International Foundation invites Korean high school students to propose a reporting trip to schools and cultural sites in six central Japanese prefectures; about 10 winners each receive 200,000 yen to carry out their plan in Japan. The 2027 call has not been posted yet.
Supported by Japan's MEXT, the Embassy of Japan in Korea and ANA, the contest selects high school students through a document review and an interview judged by Japan and Korea experts. Winners travel to the Tokai/Hokuriku region to report on schools and cultural sites and then submit final reports and social-media posts, which are published on the foundation's website.
