Building Bridges: KU Global Youth Academy 2027

KU’s residential youth academy brings international and US students together in Lawrence for university-life preparation and intercultural learning. The programme combines personal-development workshops, team-based problem solving, a cultural showcase, field trips and final small-group presentations. Students practise collaboration and communication while living in university housing. Roommates are assigned to encourage intercultural contact; chaperones stay on the same floor.
