A yearly Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment programme in which high school students (age 13-16) spend days with scientists at a Kerala S&T institution (for example KFRI Peechi), with talks, labs, museums and hands-on activities.

Sasthra Sameeksha is part of the KSCSTE Science Education Centre scheme. Each programme has interactive sessions by eminent scientists or academics followed by activity-oriented sessions, to foster early interest in science among high school students. At KFRI in 2026 topics included lichens as environmental sponges, insect behaviour, butterfly science, wildlife conservation, plant tissue culture and soil-water conservation, with a walk through the campus, laboratories and museums.
