The Kalamazoo Promise — Class of 2027
Kalamazoo Public Schools graduates who live in the district receive up to 100% of in-state tuition and mandatory fees at 60+ eligible Michigan institutions; from fall 2027 coverage expands to accredited four-year HBCUs.

Benefit scale by continuous KPS enrollment and residency: K–12 100%; 1–12 to 3–12 95%; 4–12 90%; 5–12 85%; 6–12 80%; 7–12 75%; 8–12 70%; 9–12 65%; starting in 10th grade or later — none. Covers up to 145 credits; requires full-time enrollment (with exceptions) and a 2.0 GPA.
