Intermediate Biology Olympiad 2027 — US schools

UK Biology Competitions administers this academic olympiad through recognized schools and colleges. Students take two 35-minute papers online, physically on their own enrolled school’s premises with an in-person staff invigilator. Schools may schedule papers together or separately within the published window. The current page/FAQ describe two 35-minute papers: one uses A-level topics and the other emphasizes problem solving, including unfamiliar material. Its linked 2026 teacher PDF is historical administrative guidance; schools should check the eventual 2027 instructions. E-certificates recognize Gold, Silver, Bronze, Highly Commended, Commended and Participation. The represented route is a participating US school, not remote examination from home.
