Interlochen Creative Writing for High School 2027

The three-week residential programme offers fiction, nonfiction, poetry and playwriting. Students rank preferences after enrolment; staff try to place them in their top two genres, subject to space. Published writers lead exercises, peer workshops and discussion of published work. Environmental Explorations, faculty/guest readings and preparation for publication and performance accompany the workshops. Each session ends with a student reading and a printed anthology.
