INChO is Stage II of the five-stage National Olympiad Programme. Selected students go on to the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC), then training and the International Olympiad team for 2027. India won 2 gold and 2 silver at IChO 2025, 3 gold and 2 silver at IPhO 2025 and 2 gold and 2 silver at IBO 2025.
