A Himachal Pradesh state scholarship of Rs 18,000 a year for the top 2,000 girls in the Class 12 (+2) board result in Science, Arts or Commerce who go on to a degree, diploma or certificate course.
A state-sponsored scheme started in 2012-13. The top 2,000 meritorious girls of the Science, Arts and Commerce streams, ranked on the passing ratio in each group from the HPBOSE list, receive Rs 18,000 per year. The scholarship is renewed until the degree, diploma or certificate course is completed, provided the student does not fail a year. Notification No. EDN-B-F(4)-11/2012 dated 15.09.2012.
