Goethe-Institut UK ÖkoScoop Competition: German meets Sustainability (2027 edition)

A team competition in which German learners research a sustainability issue in their school community and present it in German at a live online press conference. Run by the Goethe-Institut UK and open to schools across the UK.

Teams act as German-speaking researchers, investigate a local sustainability topic, summarise findings, propose improvements and present them in a creative digital format, finishing with a live online press conference. Prizes are awarded in several categories and each team receives a resource kit. It builds on the previous year's Goethe debating competition.
