Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition (DHBBVC) 2027-28, Std IX

Stage 1 is a 100-mark, 100-MCQ paper in 90 minutes (7.5% go to Level II); Stage 2 is a 30-mark practical round with one experiment each in physics, chemistry and biology for Std IX (10% selected); Stage 3 is a general interview and Stage 4 an interview on an action-research project (30 marks each). Medals by merit: gold (top 10%, certificate and one-time Rs 5,000), silver (next 60%, Rs 3,000), bronze (rest, Rs 2,000).
