CNIB Post-Secondary Scholarships and Bursaries 2027-28

A single CNIB application considers students who are blind, Deafblind or have low vision for dozens of named scholarships and bursaries, including awards for those entering post-secondary study from high school.

CNIB awarded $220,900 to 56 Canadians in the last cycle. Applicants are considered automatically for every award they qualify for, including regional awards such as the Barney Danson Scholarship ($5,000) and general CNIB Scholarships ($3,000). Selection looks at financial need, location, community involvement, resilience, leadership and ambitions.
