SCERT Chhattisgarh runs the contest to build interest in science among Class 9-10 students; the Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology (CCOST) describes it as a block, district, zone and state competition. CCOST states that state-level participants (90) get Rs 1,000 each in cash and the 18 selected participants get Rs 3,000 each.
