Quebec's largest francophone stage-arts contest for cégep students: local finals, five regional semi-finals and a national final with scholarships up to $3,000.
Cégeps en spectacle is produced by the Réseau intercollégial des activités socioculturelles du Québec (RIASQ). Acts in song, dance, humour, music, theatre, circus arts, oratory (including slam, poetry and storytelling) or multidisciplinary art are judged on originality, stage presence and talent. Each of the five regional finals sends two acts to the national final, and each regional winner receives a $750 scholarship. In the national final of 10 acts: 1st prize $3,000 (Desjardins), 2nd $2,000 (Québecor), 3rd $1,500 (Fédération des cégeps), Creation prize $1,000 (UQAM) and a $1,000 audience favourite prize.
