The written first-round exam of the Indian Computing Olympiad, the national route to India's team for the International Olympiad in Informatics. Open to all school students up to Class 12.
ZIO is a computerised test on the TCS iON platform: students work out solutions on paper and type in only the final answers. A student may write ZIO or ZCO (or both) and qualify for the second round (INOI) through either. About 30 students from INOI go to the IOI Training Camp, which selects the team of four for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI-2027 in Germany).
