Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Sanshodhit Yojana, Haryana (2026-27)
A Haryana government merit incentive of Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 a year for meritorious students from Scheduled Castes, Vimukt/Nomadic Tribes, Backward Classes and the General category whose family income is up to Rs 4 lakh. Online applications for 2026-27 are open until 30 November 2026.

The scheme was started in 2009-10 to encourage competition and excellence among students of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes; the 2026-27 advertisement also covers Vimukt Jatis, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Tapriwas communities, Backward Classes (Block A and B) and the General category. Students with outstanding results receive an incentive of Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 per year, paid directly into the student's bank account. The class and marks criteria are in the department's scheme guideline PDFs; the scheme page and notice do not state a class range, so grades are not set here.
