Mitsui & Co. Scholarship Program for India 2027 (undergraduate study in Japan)
A fully funded scholarship for outstanding Indian students who have finished, or will finish by March 2027, Class 12 and want to take a bachelor's degree at a Japanese university, preceded by 1.5 years of Japanese language training.

Set up by Mitsui & Co., which has done business in India for many years, to develop future leaders who strengthen India-Japan relations. The programme lasts 5.5 years: 1.5 years of Japanese language training (including a two-month online pre-departure course) followed by four years of undergraduate study in Sciences & Engineering or Social Sciences, Business & Commerce. Medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, arts, physical-education, nursing and caregiving faculties are not eligible; changing major after entry is not allowed.
