Vietnam National Olympiad Team Selection Exam (IMO, IPhO, IChO, IBO, IOI) 2027

The exam (Kỳ thi chọn đội tuyển Olympic) is written at an olympiad level close to the international competitions. In 2026, 194 students from 31 units took part: 50 in Mathematics, 40 in Physics, 33 each in Chemistry and Biology and 38 in Informatics. The 2026 teams went on to the IMO in China, the Asian Physics Olympiad in Korea and the IPhO in Colombia, and the chemistry, biology and informatics olympiads in Uzbekistan, Lithuania and other host countries.
