UN Youth Environmental Conference 2027 (Korea)

EcoNow, UNEP's partner NGO in Korea, co-hosts with UNEP and WFUNA a Model UN-style youth environmental assembly in Seoul where middle and high school delegates represent UN member states and draft resolutions on a global environmental agenda. The 2027 call has not been posted yet.

Billed as the only MUN co-hosted with UNEP in Korea, the conference gathers around 300 youth (including overseas participants) who act as UN member-state delegates. In 2026 middle school delegates sat on a Freshwater Ecosystems committee and high school delegates on a Marine Ecosystems committee; keynote and opening speakers included former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Delegates who attend every official session receive a completion certificate.
