UKESF Semiconductor Talent Award 2027/28

A government-funded award of 4,000 pounds a year for up to three years for students starting an electronics, computer science, materials science or physics degree at a UKESF partner university. Applications for 2026/27 have closed; interest in 2027/28 can be registered now.

The award is a UK Government funded initiative to address under-representation and improve social mobility in the UK semiconductor industry. Benefits include a 4,000 pound annual scholarship, an induction event, industry insight webinars, an online learning platform, regional events and visits, and an industry mentor. It is anticipated to last up to three years.
