The Middle School Mathematics branch of TÜBİTAK's 2202 Science Olympiads Programme has a 32-question, 180-minute multiple-choice first-stage exam. Students above the committee's cut-off are invited to a summer school and the second-stage exam; medallists (gold, silver, bronze) go on to the winter school and team selection exams that pick Türkiye's teams for regional and international olympiads.
