Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) 2027

Students carry out an original research or engineering project, alone or in a team of up to three (cross-school teams are allowed), with one project per student. Research must fall between 1 January of the preceding year and the close of registration, within 12 months. Rules on human, animal and hazardous research and on generative AI use apply. From 2027 the junior category has ended; lower-secondary students are directed to the Singapore Youth Science Fair instead.
