SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship for School Students, Classes 9-12 (next cycle after 2026-27)

SBI Foundation's Asha Scholarship gives Rs 15,000 to meritorious Class 9-12 students from families earning up to Rs 3 lakh a year. The 2026-27 window (22 July to 4 September 2026) has closed and the next cycle has not been announced.

One of India's large scholarship programmes run by SBI Foundation for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds, with separate categories from school to postgraduate, medical, IIT, IIM and overseas study. The School category gives Rs 15,000 (terms and conditions apply); renewal depends on meeting the minimum criteria every year. 50% of slots are reserved for female students and, within the selection, 25% for SC and 25% for ST students.
